Don was a blast to be around. More energy than the energizer bunny and the best sense of humor. He loved deeply and very protective of his family. He made life fun and was the loving husband of my childhood friend, Teresa. He will be missed but also remembered.

I’m so sad to hear about Don’s passing. I really enjoyed our talks about Key West, people we both know, what’s going on. He always kept me up to date on things and he always made me laugh. I will really miss him. Teresa, I am praying for you and your family to receive God’s gift of peace for these very sad times. God Bless.

What a man!!!
To say Don lived life fully is an understatement. Don was one of a kind, he loved deeply, played hard but nothing was more important to Don than family and friends. I’ll always remember Don’s thundering voice, laughter, views on life, political stance and those special moments we shared. Knowing Don was experiencing life to the fullest and I know that my life was enriched because of Don Wimmer. I love you buddy, you’ll be greatly missed and God’s speed.
