Obituary of Jim Shaw

Jim “Opa” Shaw, age 80, of Summerfield, FL passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018. He was born in Ludowici, GA on December 12, 1937. James was a pilot in the US Army and retired after 24 years. He moved to Summerfield from Pennsylvania in 2000. Jim was a Mason and Shriner.

He is survived by his wife Heinke Shaw of Summerfield, FL; sons Jerry E. Shaw of Memphis, TN and Terry W. Shaw of Melbourne Beach, FL; daughter Sandra A. Neill of Melbourne, FL; and grandchildren James, Katie, Cliff, Mat, Erika and Mason.

A memorial service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Shriners Hospital.
