Obituary of Catherine Joy Higney

Catherine Joy Higney; Age 82, passed away on May 2, in the arms of her loving husband.  Born and raised in New York, NY to John and Emma Harlin.  High School years were spent at Bushwick during which time she met George.  A four year courtship was followed by nearly 62 years of cherished marriage. Catherine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her guidance, love and commitment made a lasting imprint on the lives of her husband, their son George and his wife Tracey, their daughter Susan and her husband Vincent, and their four grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed.

Cathy’s life will be celebrated on May 5th, 2018 at the Hiers-Baxley funeral home in The Villages from 3 to 5PM.
