Muratore, Thomas 83 Jesus came and called Thomas Muratore on October 30, 2008. Mr. Muratore was a Justice of the Peace, Wickenburg Justice Precinct, Arizona, a Deputy Sheriff in Nassau County, NY, a General Insurance Broker in NY and a realtor in Arizona. He was also a School Board President in Hicksville, NY. He was active in many organizations and was a Eucharistic Minister and Usher and member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala, and Catholic Church Minister of Communion and Knight of the Altar, Holy Name Society President; Knights of Columbus Faithful Navigator and Grand Knight; founder and President of Columbus Day Italian/American Festival of Sun Cities, AZ, Sun City West Italian/American Club President, Member of Sun City Westside Coalition Substance Abuse Program, and active member of Pioneer Lion's Club, Volunteer at Boswell Hospital, AZ and Library, AZ. He is survived by his wife Bernadette Muratore of Ocala, FL; son Guy Muratore, NJ , daughter Debora Barsa of NY, sisters Madeline D'Aqusta, NJ, Virginia DeNezzo, AZ and brother Alfred Muratore, FL and 5 grandchildren. He moved from Sun City West, AZ in 2000. He served in the US Army during WWII. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 8:30 AM with Father Patrick J. O'Doherty officiating.
