Obituary of Elgia Joseph Burke

Elgia Joseph Burke, Jr of Trenton passed away at his home on Nov. 6, 2008. Born in Van Wert OH, he moved here from Big Pine Florida Keys in 1982. He was a carpenter. He is survived by his son, Joseph Ezekiel 'Zeke' Burke; sisters Kay Duncan, Florence Caturia, Peggy Watson, all of Chiefland Dee Forsythe of Dunnellon; brother Donny E. Burke; girlfriend Audrea L. Smith; step son, Cory D. Smith, and grandson Derrick R. Smith, all of Chiefland. Visitation will be Thurs. Nov. 13, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Chiefland.
