Obituary of John Thoeni

THOENI, John P. (Jack the Milkman) Mr. Jack Thoeni, 77, of Ocala, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at his residence. A native of East DeBuque, Illinois, he moved to this area 40 years ago. He retired after many years with T.G. Lee Dairy, and had spent the last 10 years working for the Ocala Flower Shop. His hobbies including collecting coins, and he was of the protestant faith. Survivors include his wife Sonya, daughter Linda Johnson (Michael), Jacke Ray (Sting), sons Drew Thoeni (Maggie), Tom Thoeni (Quincey), Scott Harroff (London), and Ted Thoeni (Vicki), 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM Friday, November14, 2008, at Oak-Griner Baptist Church, 6422 NE Jacksonville Rd., Ocala, with Rev. Frank Grant officiating.
