Obituary of Emily Sue Buffington

Buffington, Emily Sue Ocala - Emily Sue Buffington, 90, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008. She was a native of Oklawaha and a lifetime resident of Marion County. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church of Ocala and was former secretary to the City Manager of Ocala in the 1950's. She is survived by two brother-in-laws and their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, J. Eric Buffington in 1991. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, with Rev. Clarence Duncan officiating. Visitation will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery at Shady.
