Obituary of Carl Dettelis

Dettelis, Carl The Villages - Carl Dettelis, 81, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at The Villages Regional Hospital. Born in Buffalo, New York he moved from Buffalo to The Villages nine years ago. He was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church. He was also a drummer with The Villages Twirlers and his hobbies included learning to play the trombone. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corp serving during World War II. He is survived by his wife Mary Dettelis of The Villages; children Lawrence Dettelis of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Rosanne Steele of Austin, TX, Joseph Dettelis of Buffalo, NY, John Dettelis of Buffalo, NY, and ten grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5-7:30 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages. Services will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 10 beginning at 8:30 AM.
