Obituary of Jerry McDermott

McDERMOTT, JERRY R. Silver Springs - Jerry R. McDermott, 75, passed away on Dec. 9, 2008. He was born in Jackson, MI and moved here in 2000. He retired as personnel manager from Clark Equipment Co. and then worked at the Winn-Dixie Store at Four Corners here in Marion County. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Silver Springs, his daughters, Melissa McCord of Silver Springs and Cyndi McWhorter of St. Louis, MO, his sons, Greg McDermott of Gainesville and Jeff McDermott of St. Louis, MO, his eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-7 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
