Obituary of Oliver Barbeau

Oliver J. Barbeau, 86, passed away on January 29, 2009 at Life Care Center of Ocala. Mr. Barbeau moved from Alpena, Michigan to Florida in 1999. He retired from General Motors Cadillac Division after 30 years of service as a machinist technician. Mr. Barbeau was a past member of D'Clowns of (OTOW), the Irish Club, and Friendship Club, He enjoyed archery, bowling, fishing, ceramics, and he started the 1st Volunteer Ceramics Class for seniors in Alpena, Michigan. Mr. Barbeau is survived by his two daughters, Marie Duffy and husband James; Kathleen Goszewski and husband Roy; both of Ocala; "His Lady Love", Gloria Tickner, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Helen Marie (Farmer) Barbeau (1999) and a grandson, Nathan Goszewski (1998). Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 13, 2009 at 8:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, SR 200, with Father Patrick J. O'Doherty officiating.
