Obituary of Theresa Yankocy

Theresa J. Yankocy, age 90, of Ocala, FL passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009. She was born in Passaic, NJ on November 8, 1918. Mrs. Yankocy moved to Ocala from Toms River, NJ in 1984. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Silver Springs Shores Swingers Club. She enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, gospel music, ice cream and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter Carole Owen of Ocala; sister Julie Kogit of Saylorsburg, PA; brother Edward Blake of VA; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Raymond Yankocy; daughter Joan Getchell; and a son Fred Lehmer. She met many wonderful people on her journey here and was loved by all and will be missed beyond measure. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009, 1:00pm at the Trinity Baptist Church, 1600 SE 58th Ave, Ocala, FL, Ocala, FL.
