Obituary of Edward Lorentz

Edward C. Lorentz of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Orchard Park, New York passed away Monday, March 16, 2009. Mr. Lorentz was born in Lancaster, New York and moved to The Villages fifteen years ago from Orchard Park. He was a retired steam fitter of Local 22 - Buffalo, New York; a Merchant Marine during WWII; member of St. Timothy Catholic Church; Depew Rod & Gun Club and Ramos Golf Club. His hobbies were golf, playing cards, bowling and was a avid hunter.Survivors include his wife Alice; two sons, Edward, Depew, New York; David Lorentz, Lancaster, New YOrk; daughter, Barbara McClenathan, Gainesville, Florida; brother Robert, West Falls, New York; sister, Lorraine Burrows, Orchard Park, New York; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeff) Dobbs, Lancaster; Heather Lorentz, New York, NY; Briana & Katelyn Lorentz, Springhill, TN; Megan McClenathan, Gainesville; two great grandchildren, Madison & Zachery Dobbs, Lancaster, NY and many nieces and nephews.
