Obituary of Edgar Graff

GRAFF, JR., EDGAR HOWARD Ocala - Edgar Howard Graff, Jr., 84, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2009. He was born in Scarbro, WV and was a produce broker, known as "Watermelon Man". He was a member and was head usher at Druid Hills United Methodist Church, member of Senior Services, Meals On Wheels, Mentoring Program, past president of Ocala Men's Golf Assn., involved in the Camp Tournament, Doug Oswald and the Saturday Morning Men's Golf Group that he organized. He was in unofficio Mayor of Fisher Park and served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps as a nose gunner in a B-24 in the Pacific Campaign. He is survived by his wife, Elmo Jeanette Graff, his son, Michael H. Graff and his wife Mary, his daughter, Susie O'Neill and husband Tim all of Ocala, his daughter, Jan Bullock and husband Paul of Gainesville and his son Joe Graff and wife Cindy of Ocala. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Heather, Heath, Tucker, Nichole, Jeanette, Adam and Derek and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Trista, Lucas and Hunter. Funeral services will be held on April 3, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Druid Hills United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
