Obituary of Montine Clyatt Kuzma

Montine Clyatt Kuzma, 88, of Gainesville, passed away March 27, 2009 in Gainesville. She was born in Otter Creek, FL to Montgomery and Leone Clyatt. She served her country in the US Navy, was a volunteer with the Girl Scouts, member of the Little Women of Gainesville, a graduate of Chiefland High School and in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Mrs. Kuzma was an avid sports fan, enjoying tennis, bridge, swimming, skiing and the Florida Gators. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chiefland and Trinity Methodist Church of Gainesville. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dee Ann and Fred Calhoun of Williamsburg, VA, niece Monty Maddox Marchant of Gainesville and great niece Mary Hope of Archer. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Kuzma. Graveside services will be Monday, March 30, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Chiefland Cemetery on SR 345 in Chiefland.
