Edna Vae Smith, 88, of Ocklawaha died at her residence on April 4, 2009. She was a native of Brantley, Alabama and a long time resident of Ocklawaha. She was a Sunday School Teacher and attended Weirsdale Baptist Church. She is survived by her Daughter, Betty L. Kaufman, Ocklawaha, FL; Son, George R. Smith, Woodland, AL; Son, Hugh Frank Smith, Brantley, AL; Son, Gerald K. Smith, Lexington, SC; Brother, Wilburn Compton, Brantley, AL; Sister, Brady Hudson, Dozier, AL; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
