Obituary of Jacob Ward

WARD, Jacob Alexander Jacob Alexander Ward, 16, of Ocala, died suddenly Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in North Marion County. A native of Vermont, he moved here with his mother in 1996. An honor student at Vanguard High School, he had many hobbies, including fishing, collecting knives and swords, video games, music, and was an avid car enthusiast. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother Vicki L. Fairbrother, father Shawn Ward, step-mother Dorothy Ward, sisters Sarah Ward and Jennifer Ward, brother Cody Jacob Thornton, grandparents Rosalie Fairbrother, Lawrence Fairbrother, and Ray Pero, and great grandparents Theodore Sullivan and Marilyn Williams. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd,. Ocala, with Pastor Leroy S. Chandler officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
