Lowry, Winifred E. Thomsen, 85 Winifred E. Thomsen Lowry passed from this life on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at TimberRidge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Lowry was a Senior Administrative Assistant in Food Service at IBM and Public Schools. She graduated Cum Laude from Bates College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Math. Mrs. Lowry came to Ocala from Armonk, New York in 1986. Mrs. Lowry enjoyed travel, dancing and quilting and was a member of the Oak Run Quilters. Mrs. Lowry is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Richard Lowry, Ocala, FL; daughter Linda Marie Hay, Palm Coast, FL; son Thomas Alan Lowry of Sherrill, NY; daughter Janet Barbara Barrett of Brookfield, CT; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sister Ruth Loeffler, Lauderhill, FL; brother William Thomsen, Jr. W. Palm Beach, FL; sister Jane Moran, Minneapolis MN. She was predeceased by brother Raymond Thomsen, St. Joseph, IL and sister Elaine Eigelsbach, Ft.
