Obituary of Jack Johnson

Johnson, Jack W. Ocala - Jack W. Johnson, 84, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009 at Sylvia's Hospice House. Born in Ashland, KY he moved to Ocala in 1952. He worked as a general manager for Fuller Amusement for 25 years and a service manager for Sears and Roebuck in Leesburg for 10 years. He was a member of the Marion-Dunn Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He loved the state of Florida, especially central Florida. He was a family man and known to be a good Samaritan, always looking to help others. He is survived by his son Arnold Johnson of West Jefferson, NC; daughters Jackie Lorito of Belleview and Deborah James of Ocala; grandchildren Lori Blann, Jeremy James, Nicole Lorito Anderson and Chadwick James; and great-grandchildren Weston Blann and Gavin Anderson. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Mae Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860 Ocala, FL 34478.
