Obituary of Harold Ciaburri

Harold L. Ciaburri, age 97, of Ocala, FL passed away on Friday, August 14, 2009. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 7, 1911. He was raised in Brooklyn and moved to Long Island where he lived until moving to Florida in 1995. In Brooklyn he worked as a Shipping Clerk and then in Long Island he worked as the Head Groundskeeper for the Nassau County Park System. His hobbies included gardening, watching baseball, going to the racetrack and playing cards. He is survived by his wife of over 70 years Anna Ciaburri of Ocala; son William Ciaburri of Bethpage, NY; granddaughter Denise Abbatiello of Ocala; grandson John Abbatiello of Monument, CO; grandson Billy Ciaburri of Bethpage, NY; great grandchildren Anthony, Rebekah and Matthew. A memorial service will be held at The Appleton Museum, 4333 E Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 4:00pm.
