Obituary of Lewis J. Kring

Summerfield - Lewis J. Kring, 83, died at his residence September 20, 2009. He was born in Troy, PA and moved to this area from Troy in 1989. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Summerfield and a retired x-ray lab technician from GTE Sylvania for 36 years. Mr. Kring was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Army. He enjoyed camping, volunteer work for Campers on Mission, Southern Baptist Disaster Relief in 2004, and volunteer work with the church. Mr. Kring is survived by his wife of 21 years, Grace Kring, Summerfield; daughter, Kathy Simcoe, Troy, PA; son, Pastor Stephen Kring, Delhi, Ontario, Canada; daughters, Dianne Myers, Harrisburg, PA, Connie Bump, Herrickville, PA, Laurie Lance, Summerfield, Brenda Sykes, Round O, SC; son, Richard Levengood, Henderson, NV; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
