Obituary of John Casey

Casey, John Ocala - John J. Casey, 50, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Munroe Regional Medical Center. Born in New York City, NY he moved to Ocala in 2000 from Columbus, OH. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. He was a part owner and operator of a Wendy's Franchise in North Central Florida. He loved boating and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Tana Casey, daughter Shannon, and son John all of Ocala; parents John and Debbie Casey of Bonita Springs, FL; sister Maryann Anderson (Richard) of Lake George, NY; brother Tim Casey (Shelly) of Upper Arlington, OH; sister Jean Littlefield (Rodney) of Palm Coast, FL; brother Bill Gourley of Atlanta, GA; three nieces; and 9 nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Jane Casey. A funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 SE 17th Street. A visitation will be held from 4 - 7 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Ocala Chapel, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. John will be remembered by family, friends, and co-workers for his generosity in spirit and deed.
