Obituary of Clarence Williams

Clarence Edgar Williams, III (Bud), died December 14, 2009 after an extended, brave battle with lung cancer. Bud was born December 5, 1940 in Richmond, VA to Clarence and Dorothy Williams. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. He served in the 101st Airborne unit of the U.S. Army. Bud and Leslie, his wife, resided in Richmond and Reedville, VA and most recently The Villages, FL. Bud is survived by his wife, Leslie Tate; his sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn W. and Joe Eanes; many nieces and nephews; his two children and their spouses, Michelle W. and Scott Mogel; Todd Hudson and Jenni Williams; two step-children and their spouses, Leslie T. and Bill Boles; Carrington and Cerrell Tate; 6 grandchildren, Blake, Grayson, and Barrick Mogel; Emma Boles; and Will and Madeline Tate. He enjoyed traveling with Leslie, visiting his grandchildren and boating the Chesapeake Bay. At Bud's request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the the charity of your choice in Bud's honor.
