Obituary of Evelyn E. Byrnes

Evelyn Ellen Byrnes, 78 of Chiefland, formerly of Pompton Lakes, NJ passed away Dec. 16, 2009at home with her husband and family by her side. She was born in Bergenfield, NJ on August 29, 1931, the daughter of the late Caroline and Ettore Luberti. Also pre deceased by her great grandson, Travis Byrnes. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, totally devoted to her family. Always thinking of others and forever working, caring, and giving to her family. Surviving are her husband Walter 'Jim' Byrnes of Chiefland. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in January. Brother John Luberti of Dumont, NJ., sister-in-law Barbara Richie of Inverness, FL., daughters Linda Byrnes of Mountaintop, PA, Susan Kircher and husband Jim, of Bell, FL., Valerie Erling and husband Will of Pequannock, NJ., and son Walter Byrnes of Bell, FL. Grandchildren, Paula Rinehimer and husband Lonnie, Brenda Aton and husband Jim, Danny McDonough and wife Allisia, all of Mountaintop, PA., Dawn Byczek and husband Dary of Oxford, WI., James Paulson of Bell, FL.,Charlene Carver and husband Dewayne of Bell, FL., Travis Kircher and wife Amber of Bell, FL., and Rachel Erling of Pequannock, NJ. Great grandchildren are Justin, Eric, Kelsey, Jimmy, Brooke, Brandi, and Alyse all of Mountaintop, PA., Levi, Casey, Randy of Oxford, WI, Madison and Kaden of Bell, FL. Also her beloved dog, Benji of 18 years who never left her side, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Mrs. Byrnes' memory to Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties, 311 NE 9th ST, Chiefland, FL 32626.
