Obituary of Juana Perez

Perez, Juana L. Mrs. Juana L. Perez a Homemaker died Thursday, December 17,2009 at Sylvia's House in Ocala, Florida. A native of Havana, Cuba coming to America from there in 1962. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith attending Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Her hobbies included listening to old Cuban Music, sewing ,knitting, embroidery and cooking her famous black beans, she especially enjoyed Holidays and reunions with her family, she was most proud of her only daughter Vivien and her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and the closeness of her siblings. She is Survived by her Daughter Vivien (Glenn) Swanson of Ocala, Fl. Granddaughters Elizabeth Swanson- Griffin of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl and Laura Swanson-Jones (Kevin Jones) of Moyock, NC. Grandson Edward Swanson. Great Granddaughters Allison and Victoria Kuhn of Moyock, NC. Sisters Irmina White, Rosa Bacarella and Martha (Luis) Medel all of Tampa, Fl. Brother Jorge (Myrella) Perez of Miami Beach,Fl. Cousin Delia Alverez and Nephew Orlando Valdez Alverez of Havana, Cuba and Many Beautiful nieces and nephews.In lieu of Flowers friends may contribute to Hospice of Marion County. A funeral service will be held Saturday December 26, 2009 at 12:00 PM with viewing beginning at 11:00 AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala Chapel, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL with Fr. Pat Sheedy, officiating.
