Obituary of Dean Russell Johnson

Belleview â€" Dean Russell Johnson, 77, was born in Cadillac, Michigan on August 29, 1932. He passed away at Oakhurst Rehab Center on December 27, 2009 after a battle with lung cancer. Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a retired letter carrier with the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed a hobby as a ham radio operator and spending time with his family and great-grandchildren. Son of the late Charles and Lila Johnson, he is survived by his loving wife, Carol; son, David Johnson; daughter, Susan Isaacs; stepsons, Donn Lucas, Richard (Margaret) Lucas, Duane Lucas; stepdaughters, Sue Lucas, Colette Lucas, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, brother, Jerry Johnson, son, Larry Johnson and grandsons, Jeffrey Lucas and Miles Johnson. Dean loved his children and grandchildren and he was very proud of their accomplishments.
