Obituary of John Kowalski

Kowalski, John E. John E. Kowalski, 88, of Ocala FL passed away on Friday, January 8, 2010 at TimberRidge Nursing Home and Rehab Center. Mr. Kowalski was the husband of the late Gertrude T. Kowalski nee Nelson for 56 years. Mr. Kowalski was a native of Bordentown, NJ and moved to this area from Philadelphia, PA in 1987 after retiring as a general gang foreman with The Philadelphia Gas Works. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, where he ushered for many years. He served in the United States Army, and was a lifetime member of both VFW #8083 and DAV #149. Survivors include his son John M. Kowalski (Karen) of Doylestown, PA, daughter Kathleen T. Tomczak (Edward) of Philadelphia, PA, 4 grandchildren, Dr. J. Michael Kowalski (Megan), Brynn N.
