Obituary of Thomas Daniel Lowther

Lowther, Thomas Daniel (Tom), age 62, of The Villages, FL. passed away January 13, 2010 at The Villages Regional Hospital. He was born in Portsmouth, VA. He was a manager with Pratt-Whitney aircraft division for 35 years, and retired to The Villages four years ago from Hawaii. Tom was a member of St Timothy Catholic Community. He enjoyed playing golf, watching TV, traveling, having his brandy and a fine cigar. Tom and his wife lived in Paris, Madrid, Montreal, Connecticut, and Mass. Survivors include Doreen Lowther, wife, The Villages, Florida; Sean Lowther, son, Anchorage, Alaska; Matthew Lowther, son, Fairhope, Alabama; Meghan Lowther, daughter, New York, New York; Captain Joseph Lowther, brother, Pawcatuck, CT.; Ellen Smith, sister, Truro, Mass.; Mary O'Connor, sister, Brewster, Mass. three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
