Obituary of Ruth Connet

CONNET, RUTH D. Ocala - Ruth D. Connet, 104, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. She was born in Providence, RI and moved to Ocala in 2006 from Warwick, RI. She worked with the Altar Guild at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Providence and was a member of the Eastern Star and the Buttonwood Beach Garden Club in Warwick. She enjoyed knitting, reading and being with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Whitehead and her husband Ray of Ocala, her son, John Connet and his wife Carole of Fairfield, IA, her daughter-in-law, Marsha Connet of Racine, WI, her eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew and her son Peter. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E.
