Obituary of Frank John Wilson

Frank John Wilson Muncie, Indiana - Frank John Wilson, 79, formerly of Ocala, Fl. passed away on February 4, 2010, after an extended illness at Elmcroft Assisted Living and Memory Care in Muncie, Indiana. He was born on January 12, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Robert and Gisella Wilson. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School before serving in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. Frank was employed by State Farm Insurance Companies for 37 years in Virginia, Ohio, and Indiana, before retiring to Oak Run Country Club in Ocala in 1993. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Frances (Robbins) Wilson, two sons, Michael John Wilson of Alexandria, IN, and Rev. Wayne Alan Wilson of Acton, CA; four grandchildren, Michelle (Wilson) Rominger, Charissa Wilson, Katharine Wilson, and Jonathan Wilson; two brothers, Frank Wilson and Thomas Wilson; and one sister, Joan (Wilson) Manley. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Wilson. Private family services will be held by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services TimberRidge Chapel in Ocala, Fl.
