Obituary of William Dale McGee

Ocala - William D. McGee, 60, passed away on Sunday, Mar. 7, 2010. He was born in Ocala, FL on Aug. 27, 1949. He was of Baptist faith and a member of Gainesville Elks Lodge. He was an avid fisherman, gunsmith, loved hunting, ministry, and was a real estate broker. He is survived by his wife, Janis McGee, and father, John S. McGee, Citra, FL; daughters, Janice Camile Waldron (Bubba),Citra, FL, Coni McNeill (Greg), Sparr, FL, Angela Mathews (Todd), Port St. Lucie, FL, and Crystal Hitt (James), Dunnellon, FL; son, Ben Mathews (Jen), Dunnellon, FL; sister, Vicki McGee (Jeff), Naples, FL; brothers, John S. McGee (Kathy), Tampa, FL and Michael McGee (Judy) , Naples, FL; 11 grandchildren and 1 great- grandson. He is preceded in death by daughter, April Mathews; mother, Jacqueline McGee; and grandson, Kyle James. A viewing will be held on Sunday, Mar. 14, 2010, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services- Ocala, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, from 1-3 PM with a service to follow at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Elden Luffmen officiating. Burial will follow at Citra Cemetery. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala.
