Obituary of Jacob Conrad Smith

Mr. Jacob C. "Jake" Smith, 18, of Ocala, died early Saturday morning, March 20, 2010, in Ocala. Jake was a lifetime resident of Ocala. He attended Dr. N. H. Jones Elementary, Blessed Trinity School, Trinity Catholic High School, and was currently a Senior at Belleview High School. He was of the Catholic Faith. Survivors include his parents Gordon and Lindie Reiss of Ocala, father Wallace W. Smith of New Hampshire, maternal grandmother Debbie Schnell, Ocala, paternal grandmother Sieghilde Reiss, Ocala, sister Ashley Anne Smith, brothers Sean Reiss and Dylan Reiss, all of Ocala, his aunt Carolyn London, and his uncles Gilbert Schnell and Harry Hilsman. A memorial mass will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 SE 17th St., Ocala, with Father Pat Sheedy officiating. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blessed Trinity Ugandan Mission, C/O Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
