Obituary of Edith June Adams

Fairfield - Edith June Adams, 77, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. She was born in Gainesville, GA and moved here in 1972. She was Baptist and loved fishing, hunting and racing. She is survived by her companion of 34 years, Willard Pollard of Fairfield, her daughters, Edith McCullough and husband Bill of Leesburg and Evie Elliott and husband Tony of Orlando, her son, Robert Hunter and wife Mary of Orange City, her sisters, Ann Mitchum of Reddick and Janie Willis of Orange Lake, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, officiated by Rev. Deborah Jensen-Short. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM. Those who wish may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
