Obituary of Shelia M. Clarke

SUMMERFIELD — Shelia M. Clarke, 86, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Mrs. Clarke was born in England, and moved to Summerfield from Bonita Springs in 1994. She was retired from retail sales; attended North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake; was a former member of Spruce Creek South Country Club; enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, and golf. Survivors include her husband, Richard F.; stepdaughter, Jodel Thompson, Dallas, Texs; stepsons Dan E. Clarke, Alexandria, Va., Steven R. Clarke, Mansfield, Mass.; and four step-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, with visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Cancer Center, 88 Sunnyside Blvd., Suite 307, Plainview, NY 11803.
