Obituary of Ronald Banas

THE VILLAGES — Ronald P. Banas, 67, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Mr. Banas was born in Philadelphia, Pa. He had retired as a boilermaker in construction after 45 years; was of the Catholic faith; member of Local Union Lodge No. 13, Newportville, Pa.; avid University of Florida Gator fan; enjoyed swimming; and watching sports on TV. Survivors include his brother, Robert, Spring Hill; and companion, Joan Sockett, The Villages. A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, July 3, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service, The Villages.
