Obituary of Melvin Turbeville

TURBEVILLE, MELVIN D., 60 Ocklawaha - Melvin D. Turbeville, 60, died at Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville September 14, 2010. He was born in Ocala, FL and was a lifetime resident. He was an automotive mechanic, and was a veteran of VietNam serving in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Turbeville enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Shannon Long, Kevin Cason, Doug Turbeville, Jr., Anna Turbeville, Luke Turbeville and Chanda Turbeville; mother Lillian Hazel Hicks; brothers, Donny Turbeville, Dale Turbeville, Curtis Turbeville, David Turbeville, Terry Turbeville, and James Turbeville; sister, Carol Reynolds and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview with Jeremy Culpepper officiating.
