Obituary of Dolores Garvin Souder

Dolores Garvin "Dolly" Souder, 83, of Summerfield, Florida passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 with hospice care at her home, following an extended illness. Born in Beaver, PA on September 2, 1927, she was a graduate of Beaver High School Class 1945, and was a graduate of the Grace Martin Secretarial School, Pittsburgh, PA. Dolly was a homemaker and an executive secretary. She loved her family, friends and music. Dolly is survived by her husband of 60 years, Otto W. Souder, whom she married April 21, 1950, and a son, Scot W. Souder and wife Mary. She is survived by six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A daughter, Lisa Souder Misura, preceded her in death. Dolly was a member of the First Baptist Church at The Villages Memorial Services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, October 1, 2010 at First Baptist Church at The Villages, 16985 SE 79th Clearview Ave., The Villages, FL 32162 with Rev. Bob Perry officiating. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to First Baptist Church at The Villages or Hospice of Florida Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery
