Obituary of Susan McBride

Susan C. McBride,92, of Ocala, passed away at home on Monday, September 27, 2010. Born in Chipley, FL she was a lifelong Florida resident moving to Ocala in 1949. Susan was a homemaker who was devoted to her family and friends. She was a passionate gardener who loved attending her flowers. She was the last of ten siblings. Her beloved husband James of 59 years married passed away in 1999. Susan is survived by her children: Judy Henriques (Ron), June McBride and Bill McBride (Linda), all of Ocala; Carol McBride of Duluth,GA and Rick McBride (Donna) of St.Petersburg, FL.: 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Dora Tyson of New Port Richey, FL and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala. Condolences may be made at www.hiers-baxley.com.
