Obituary of Edward Peter Calandra

Calandra, Edward Peter Ocala - Edward Peter Calandra, 83, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Hampton Manor Deerwood. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Ocala to retire. Eddie enjoyed playing the Keyboard and was a member of the Bonnie Belles & Beaux, a dance group. Mr. Calandra was a veteran and served in the Seabees of the Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella in 2002, a brother Fred in 2010, and step-daughter, Barbara Knowles, 2010. A visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Ocala Chapel, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. Interment will follow the visitation at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
