Obituary of Albert John Mulroy

MULROY, Albert John Mr. Albert John Mulroy, age 92, peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. He was born on August 8, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY to Sarah and Joseph Mulroy. He moved from Lindenhurst, NY to Weirsdale, FL in 1978. He is survived by his six children: Theresa Von Braunsberg and her husband Walter of Ft. Meyers, FL; Barbara Willey and her husband Larry of Weirsdale, FL; Albert J. Mulroy and his wife Francine of Pompano Beach, FL; Rosemary Redmond and her husband Thomas of Winter Park, FL; Maureen Blaustien and her husband Steve of Lady Lake, FL; Catherine Trammell and her husband David of Weirsdale, FL, and 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Catherine T. Mulroy, his brothers Robert Mulroy, Joseph Mulroy, his sisters Edith McNeal, Eileen Hodge, and Sarah Tucker. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, Visitation will be half hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park.
