Obituary of Marian T. Pelow

Marian Theresa Pelow Marian Theresa Pelow, passed into the Lord's hands on January 29, 2011 in Orlando, Florida. Born in Allegany, New York 85 years ago, Marian was the daughter of Albert and Annetta Gallets. Mrs. Pelow grew up on a farm in Allegany, NY. On August 23, 1947, she married Louis Pelow at St. Bonaventure Church in Allegany, New York. They lived in West Seneca, NY for over 35 years before moving to Dunedin, Fl. in 1989. Marian spent more than 35 years as a housewife, raising four children before returning to work at Goldome Bank in Buffalo where she was an outstanding team member. After retiring to Florida, she lived in Dunedin before relocating to the Villages in 1999, where she was a regular participant at The Villages Wellness Center and could be seen playing golf at many of the surrounding golf courses. Marian is survived by her husband, Louis of the Villages, four children Sharon (Leo) Keenan III of Nellysford, Va.; Cary (Merry) Pelow of West Seneca; David (Pam) Pelow of Bemus Point, NY, and Beverly (Dennis) Kremer, Leesburg, Fl. Marian is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her sister, Janice (Gallets) Hughes of Arizona, also survives. She was preceded in death by her brother, Claire Gallets. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, February 1st, 2011 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, Fl at 8:30 am. Private burial service will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell immediately following.
