Obituary of Robert W. Greene

THE VILLAGES — Robert W. Greene Jr., died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011. Mr. Greene was born in Camden, N.J., and moved to The Villages from Delaware in 1991. He was a retired commander in the Navy; member of Church on the Square, The Villages; and The Flying Midshipmen Association. Survivors include his wife, Anna M.; son, Robert W. Greene III; daughter, Carole Greene; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3709 W. Jetton Ave., Tampa, FL 33629. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services of The Villages is in charge of arrangements.
