Obituary of Anne Bernadette Connolly

Connolly, Anne B. Ocala - Anne B. Connolly, 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 01, 2011 at her home. Born in Manhattan, NY, she moved to Ocala in 1989 from Monroe, NY. She was in the Mimics Club, Drama Club, past President of OTOW Entertainment Committee, and an active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping, playing cards with the girls, the New York Mets, and the Gators. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She is survived by her children Stephen Connolly and wife Karen of San Diego, CA, Dennis Connolly of Ocala, Matthew Connolly and wife Pam of Monroe, NY, Michael Connolly of Denver, CO, Annemarie Connolly of Evergreen, CO, Cathleen Brown and husband Ken of Monroe, NY, Daniel Connolly and wife Miriam of Apopka, FL, Christine Fabian and husband Marty of Hamilton, NJ, and John Connolly and wife Mary of Parker, CO; sisters Jane Dragicevich and husband Frank of Ocala and Margaret Sullivan of Deland; brothers Charles Dobres and wife Mary of Crystal River, Robert Dobres and wife Carol of Lynhurst, NY, and Edward Dobres and wife Marilyn of St. James, NY; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Matthew Connolly and her daughter Rosemary Connolly. A funeral mass will be held at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 6455 SW Highway 200, with Father Patrick O'Doherty officiating. A visitation will be held from 4 - 6 PM on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 SW 110th Street.
