Obituary of Ora Dell Kelly

KELLY, ORA DELL TIDWELL, 87 Summerfield - Ora Dell Tidwell Kelly, 87, of Summerfield, FL passed away peacefully on February 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Kelly and son-in-law, Dr. Lawrence Fitzgerald. Ora is survived by her daughters, Sarah Fitzgerald, Summerfield, FL and Amelia Kelly Wofford, Skirum, AL, and her two grandchildren, Russell Wofford, Talladega and Kylee Wofford, Auburn, AL. She is also survived by one sister, Ava Nell Tumlin, Shiloh, AL; two sisters-in-law, Helen Tidwell, Shiloh, AL and Olene Cork, Birmingham, AL; one brother-in-law, Reverend Willis Kelly (Mary Lois), a host of nieces and nephews and special friend and caregiver, Margarita Dobbs. Ora was a devout Christian and a dedicated member of the Baptist church at every phase of her life no matter where she resided; most recently, First Baptist Church of Belleview since 2001. She enjoyed worshipping and Christian music and pushed her children and grandchildren to obtain musical training and use it to God's glory. Throughout her life, Ora Kelly was known as a great cook, a talented seamstress and a very hard worker in her job and in her home. She was a caregiver to many others in her life, which she found very gratifying. Ora loved people, always anxious to greet friends and meet new ones. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Belleview, 6107 SE Agnew Road on February 12, 2011 at 2:30 PM. A family visitation will take place at Harris Funeral Home in Crossville, AL on February 14, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a graveside service at 12:30 PM at Skirum Cemetery.
