Obituary of Ray J. Moss

SUMMERFIELD — Ray J. Moss, 78, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011. Mr. Moss was born in Calumet City, Ill., and moved to Summerfield from Alabama in 1993. He was a general manager in insurance; a Catholic by faith; U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War; and his hobbies were bowling and puzzles. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth A.; daughter, Kim Boulanger, Bedford, N.H.; sons Kevin, Essex Junction, Vt., Scott, Rowley, Mass.; five grandchildren; sisters: Irene Vesolowski (Bob) Calumet City, Illinois; Emily Follmer (Peter) Crown Pt. Indiana; Ceil Sperka (Frank) Hessville, Indiana; Judy Sikora (Richard) Dyer, Indiana. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at St. Timothy Catholic Community, Lady Lake, with committal to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
