Obituary of Donald Beverly Cail

Donald Beverly Cail died May 4, 2011. Mr. Cail was born in Nova Scotia, June 15, 1918. His family later moved to the Boston North Shore. He was in the U.S. Navy during WWII and served on the carrier USS Chenango; one of the ships that took part in the capture of Casa Blanca, code name - "Operation Torch". Mr. Cail was a lifelong carpenter and retired in 1979 from Eastern Airlines in Miami, Florida. He moved to Continental Country "Club, Wildwood, Florida in 1993. Survivors are his wife Joan; daughters, Alayne Dunbar, MA; Alison Cail-Kuntz, WA; sons, Donald Cail, FL; Scott Cail, FL; stepdaughters, Hilda Morgan, IN; Paula Walkos, DE; and Carole Decker, FL. Also surviving is a brother and four sisters; four grandchildren and one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. A committal service with Navy Honor Guard will be at the National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL., Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be sent to Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
