Obituary of Marie Barbara Johnson

SUMMERFIELD — Marie Barbara Johnson, 89, died Friday, May 6, 2011. Mrs. Johnson was born in Germany and moved to Florida from Cambridge, Md., in 1993. She worked as a nursing aide and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed her family, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her husband. Survivors include her husband, William Johnson; daughter, Doris Anderson, Douglasville, Ga.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services of The Villages. Internment will be at 11:30 a.m. at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages.
