Obituary of Iris Rawls Nix

Iris R. Nix, 88, of Ocala passed away peacefully on June 5, 2011 at Hawthorne Village A.L.F. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Junior. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (John) Dale and Elaine Nix; a grandson, John Isaac; her brother, William (Marilyn) Rawls, and numerous nieces and nephews. Iris worked for 30 years in the unemployment office. Upon retiring, she went to garage sales, played bingo, and traveled. Graveside services will be held at 3:30pm on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Thornwell Children's Home, P.O.
