The sadnest his his eyes says it all. The days since you have passed has been gloomy, but today the sun is shining, so that is why I chose today to send you this message. I know you are shining down upon us.
I Love You and miss you so much, but I have some comfort knowing I have you here with me.

Charlie and I will always remember the warmth of Bill's smile and his wonderful laughter he always shared with Carol. Bill was always a pleasure to have and to be with. We played cards and he usually won! He was a good friend and wonderful human being. He adored his wife Carol and loved his family. May God bless you and keep you forever in his heart. We will never forget you and always keep you in our prayers.
Love

I have so many wonderful memories of my Uncle Bill. When we lived in Harwood Hts, he would often stop by during one of his business calls just to say hi to my mom and Grandma, who lived across the street - and to ask if either one of them had gotten a letter from my Aunt Sue in So. IL. Uncle Bill, my mom, and my Aunt Sue were very very close. And whenever they got together there was plenty of laughter and fun. He sure did love his family and his friends, and anyone that knew him well will miss him greatly.
On one occasion I remember having the family over for a holiday celebration and we surprised Uncle Bill with an ice cream cake. He had once again received an award as top salesman at Sun LIfe Insurance Co. So I had the cake decorated to say -- "Uncle Bill - Number 1 in the Sun." He was so surprised!! It was awesome!!
Thank you, Uncle Bill, for always being there for all of us - we have relied on you for advice, for help, for strength, and for support, and you never hesitated helping us. We love you and we will all miss you very much!! You have a special place in our hearts forever.
GOD BE WITH YOU.

We were amazed at Bill's ability to do what he did at this stage of his life. He golfed using one arm and did better than most people, and loved playing cards. Our fondest memories of him were when we got together, he appreciated the comraderie, a good dinner, and the finer things of life.
