Obituary of Jean Theresa Rice

RICE, JEAN THERESA, 94 Summerfield - Jean Theresa Rice, 94, died at Tuscany Hospice House on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to this area in 1978. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview and was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Carver, Summerfield and Mary Thomas, Taylorsville, NC; grandsons, James Duke, Tocoa, GA, John Duke, Belleview; great-grandchildren, Jordon, Amanda, Matthew and Samantha Duke and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Auburn John Rice and granddaughter, Theresa Jean Duke. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 5:30 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview with visitation from 3 - 7 PM.
