Obituary of Nellie Kelly

KELLY, Nellie Juanita Mrs. Nellie Juanita Kelly, 81, of Silver Springs, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Stirrat, WV, she moved to Marion County 19 years ago, coming here from Indianapolis, IN. Her memberships included the Eastern Star, the Moose Lodge, and Ladies Oriental Shrine. She worked for many years as a public school bus driver, and later retired from General Motors as a press metal worker. One of her favorite hobbies that she excelled at was cooking for her family. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jim Kelly, her 5 daughters, Phyllis Nelson (Mike), Glenna Griffith, Deborah Branscum (Willie), Renee Kelly, and Angela Kelly, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held for Mrs. Kelly from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. She will be interred later in the week in Greenwood, Indiana.
